Responsible to: Manager
Purpose:
To support and enable Service Users’ access to social networks, social activities and personal interests, in accordance with current best practice, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations under the direction of the Activities Co-ordinator.
Main Duties:
· To help organise and implement activities which engage Service Users’.
· To ensure activities reflect the range of cultural diversity within the home.
· Support an open, positive and inclusive working culture.
· To promote equality and diversity amongst fellow colleagues and service users’.
· Assist in the formulation and implementation of care and activities promoting equality and diversity.
· Work in a cost-effective manner.
· Assist the Activities Co-ordinator in the design and administration of an evaluation of the activities.
· Document engagement and activities in residents Care Plans
· To help maintain the Home’s Social Media sites – Facebook and Instagram
· Be a link between our residents and their families – monthly newsletters, zoom calls etc
. To provide drinks to residents in communal areas and in rooms.
General:
· To attend/participate in supervisions, training and staff meetings when required.
· To adhere to and follow the home’s policies and procedures.
· To work to high standards.
· Be energetic and outgoing to encourage participation of our residents
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.71-£12.90 per hour
