Lucas Kane Carpentry is a long-established, family-run carpentry and flooring business covering Bristol, Bath and North Somerset. Majority of our work is carried out in residential properties, usually sub floor joist work, install flooring, doors etc, floor renovation, fitted joinery, staircases, first and second fix, and decking.
- Self-employed and CIS registered. A UTR number will be required.
- NVQ or City and Guilds Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery (or equivalent), with at least 5 years on the tools post-qualification
- Flooring experience strongly preferred — suspended timber subfloors, engineered, LVT and floor renovation/sanding
- Own full toolkit and a van capable of transporting sheet materials and lengths of timber
- Comfortable working both independently on smaller jobs and as part of a team on larger ones
- Good communication skills — to customers, with other team members and with us regarding regular updates on a job.
- Trustworthy, reliable, diligent, and clean and tidy on site
- Multi - trade experience advantageous
- Monday to Friday 8 - 4pm /9-5 usual working hours
