The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team as a Night Trunk Driver. This role involves transporting goods to a single location as part of our pallet network, ensuring timely and safe delivery / collection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Class 1 vehicles on scheduled night trunk routes
- Load, unload, and secure cargo in line with safety procedures
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery records
- Work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
- Proven experience in HGV driving roles
- Strong understanding of road safety and vehicle maintenance
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
