Due to on-going expansion and growth, Waste Spectrum are looking for an enthusiastic and results driven Field Service Engineer to support us with our UK customer base.
The key responsibilities include:
- Commissioning new equipment at the customer’s site.
- Attending breakdowns that require electrical & mechanical fault diagnosis.
- Repair, replace & maintain customer equipment to minimise downtime.
- Work closely with the Engineering Manager to organise your own work schedule.
- Completing key administrative tasks including engineering site report, keeping the CRM up-to-date, and liaising with Sales team to ensure follow up quotes are sent.
- Training customers on new and existing equipment
- Comply with legislation on the use of incineration equipment
- Travel throughout the UK, with regular overnight stops.
Some key skills might include:
- Experience working with both gas and diesel burning processes & burners.
- Self-motivated and able to work by yourself, managing your own time.
- Excellent verbal & written communication.
- A methodical approach to work, with attention to detail.
- Capable of meeting deadlines and managing a busy schedule, with the ability to adapt and act quickly in the events of breakdowns.
- An in-depth awareness of health & safety
