Tapera Healthcare Ltd is expanding its care team to support clients across the Yorkshire Wolds and surrounding areas. We are looking for reliable and compassionate Care Workers who can provide safe, respectful and person-centred support in people's homes and community settings.
This is a community-based role, and the location of work may vary depending on client referrals across the Wolds and nearby areas within the East Riding of Yorkshire.
About the role
As a Care Worker, you will support people of different ages and with a range of needs, which may include dementia, physical disabilities, mental health conditions and other health-related challenges.
Your duties may include:
- Providing person-centred care and support in clients' homes or community settings
- Assisting with personal care and daily routines
- Supporting with meal preparation, nutrition and hydration
- Prompting or administering medication in line with care plans and training
- Encouraging independence, choice and wellbeing
- Supporting clients to attend appointments or take part in community activities
- Monitoring and reporting changes in a client's health, behaviour or wellbeing
- Completing accurate care records
- Following safeguarding procedures, confidentiality requirements, CQC standards and company policies
What we are looking for
We are looking for applicants who are:
- Previous experience in a care or support role is preferred, with at least 1 year of experience desirable
- Compassionate, patient and respectful
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Confident communicating with clients, families and colleagues
- Able to work as part of a wider care team
- Willing to work flexibly, including some evenings, nights and weekends
- Able to travel between client locations across the Yorkshire Wolds and surrounding areas
Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided.
An NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential.

- A valid UK driving licence
- A satisfactory DBS check, or willingness to complete the required DBS check
