Van Driver / Warehouse Operative
Overview
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Van Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our team. This role combines local deliveries with warehouse duties, ensuring goods are delivered safely and efficiently while supporting day-to-day warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial van, following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Deliver goods to customers and plan efficient delivery routes.
- Load and unload vehicles, including heavy lifting.
- Carry out vehicle checks and report any issues.
- Assist with picking, packing, and organising stock in the warehouse.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older (insurance requirement).
- Hold a full, clean UK driving licence for at least 2 years.
- Previous van driving and/or warehouse experience preferred.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
