The Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Warehouse & Office Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on, varied role that keeps our warehouse running smoothly day to day. You will work alongside our warehouse team to ensure orders are processed efficiently, the site is kept tidy and safe, and stock is well organised.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist with daily warehouse operations
· Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently
· Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
· Move, handle, and store stock using appropriate equipment
· Ensure work areas are clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards
· Assist with waste management and recycling procedures
· Support other warehouse team members as required
· Follow all health and safety rules and site regulations
Occasional van driving for time-sensitive deliveries may be required
(Insurance requirement, applicants must be over 25 and hold a clean UK driving license).
Day-to-Day Tasks
· Opening the warehouse and meeting rooms each morning and switching on lights
· Receiving incoming deliveries - checking items against purchase orders and reporting any discrepancies
· Booking in stock on the system and ensuring items are correctly labelled and stored in the right locations
· Picking and packing customer orders accurately, ensuring correct items and quantities are dispatched
· Preparing shipments for courier collection - printing labels, completing paperwork and handing over to drivers
· Replenishing pick face locations and alerting the Warehouse Manager when stock is running low
· Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles using correct manual handling techniques
· Keeping the goods-in and despatch areas clear and organised at all times
· Wrapping and securing pallets ready for outbound delivery
· Emptying bins and disposing of packaging waste at the end of each shift
· Cleaning and reorganising the warehouse area - sorting empty pallets and disposing of cardboard
· Sweeping the warehouse at least once a week
· Carrying out random stock checks and cycle counts as requested by the Warehouse Manager
· Reporting any damaged stock, equipment faults or safety concerns to the Warehouse Manager promptly

· Reliable and punctual - this role starts promptly at 8:30am
· Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
· A team player who is happy to support colleagues across the business
· Good attention to detail and a commitment to keeping things tidy and safe
· Previous warehouse experience with inventory management systems is desirable but not essential - full training will be provided
