About the Role
Ensure that the warehouse areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene, supporting a safe and efficient working environment. The cleaner plays a critical role in upholding cleanliness standards in compliance with health and safety regulations, especially important in operational and manufacturing spaces.
What You'll Do
- Clean and sanitise warehouse floors, machinery exteriors (non-operational areas), and warehouse spaces.
- Regularly sweep, mop, and vacuum all designated areas, including loading bays, walkways, staff rest areas, and offices within the unit.
- Empty and disinfect bins and waste containers in compliance with waste management policies.
- Clean staff facilities, including toilets, changing rooms, kitchens, and break areas.
- Replenish hygiene supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls.
- Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored properly.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
- Report any damages, safety hazards, or maintenance issues to the supervisor promptly.
