Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children’s developmental milestones in line with early childhood education standards
- Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety, health, and emotional well-being at all times
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating nursery environment that encourages learning and exploration
- Observe and assess each child's progress, documenting developmental achievements and areas for support
- Lead by example in promoting positive behavior, manners, and social skills among children
- Support the implementation of nursery policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting
- Relevant childcare qualifications or certifications (e.g., Level 3 Childcare Qualification)
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide both children and team members effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driving license preferred for transporting children or attending off-site activities
- Passionate about nurturing young minds with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm

Pay: £25,420.00-£37,802.67 per year
