The CMA is recruiting for a Business Coordinator, offering an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of the CMA and our Strategy, Communications and Advocacy directorate (SCA). At a time of change for the UK, we are working hard to ensure that competitive markets and consumer protection add maximum value for people, communities, businesses and our economy.
The successful candidate will work closely and directly with senior leaders in SCA, teams across the CMA, and external stakeholders. The role provides strong development potential for a candidate that is keen to learn. You will get first-hand insight into the way that strategy and communications capabilities, domestic and international stakeholder engagement, and work to influence government policy and decision-making can amplify the CMAs ability to deliver impact.
You will ensure that SCA leaders are supported to lead the directorate, spanning the smooth running of meetings and events, effective planning and governance, data/insights gathering, and support for recruitment and team-building.
This role is for you if you thrive on fast-paced, highly varied work where every day is different, enjoy building and managing relationships with senior leaders, are innovative and forward-thinking in use of tech, and are open to opportunities to be challenged and continually learn.
