We're a family-run, award-winning restaurant with a brilliant team, amazing guests, and a reputation for quality, hospitality and good times. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an Assistant Manager to help lead our Bodmin restaurant.
This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely loves hospitality, enjoys developing people, and thrives in a busy environment where no two days are the same.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting the General Manager with the day-to-day running of the restaurant.
- Leading shifts and setting the tone for exceptional service.
- Coaching, developing and motivating the team.
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness and guest experience.
- Helping with rotas, stock control and labour management.
- Dealing confidently and professionally with customer feedback.
- Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
- Leading from the floor and getting stuck in wherever needed.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous supervisory or management experience in hospitality.
- Leads by example and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
- Has a genuine passion for looking after guests and developing people.
- Brings positive energy and a can-do attitude.
- Stays calm under pressure and enjoys a fast-paced environment.
- Takes pride in high standards and attention to detail.
- Wants to be part of a growing independent business rather than a large corporate chain.
