Head Chef – Matchdays , Conference & Events
Location: Club Doncaster Sports Village, Doncaster
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week)

We're looking for an ambitious and creative Head Chef to lead the kitchen operation at the Club Doncaster Sports Village, home of Doncaster Rovers FC & Doncaster Dons RLFC and one of South Yorkshire's leading conference and events venues.
This isn't just another Head Chef role. We're looking for someone with the passion and creativity to develop exciting new menus, champion fresh, locally sourced ingredients where possible, and help shape the future of our food offering across matchdays, conferences, banqueting, hospitality and special events.

The Role
You'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, leading your team to deliver outstanding food across a varied events calendar.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Design and develop seasonal menus for conferences, banqueting and hospitality.
- Introduce fresh ideas and modern food concepts.
- Work with quality local ingredients wherever possible.
- Lead and inspire a skilled kitchen brigade.
- Manage food costs, stock control and purchasing.
- Deliver exceptional food quality for everything from intimate dinners to large-scale matchdays and events.
- Work closely with the Hospitality and Events teams to create memorable guest experiences.
- Ensure the kitchen operates to the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness and compliance.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience as a Head Chef or an experienced Sous Chef ready to step up.
- A passion for creating high-quality food and developing new menus.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience managing kitchen budgets and food costs.
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
- A Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification (or equivalent).
- Professional Cookery qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent desirable).
- The flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Experience within stadiums, hotels, conference venues or large-scale hospitality operations would be advantageous.
