Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks to support chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring ingredients and utensils are ready for service
- Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
- Ensure all work areas are sanitized and organized according to health and safety standards
- Support the storage of ingredients and supplies, rotating stock as needed to prevent waste
- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to keep the kitchen tidy and environmentally friendly
- Assist with serving food and beverages when required, providing friendly support to front-of-house staff
- Follow all safety protocols and hygiene regulations diligently to uphold high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen environment
Qualifications
- Enthusiastic attitude with a keen interest in food, cooking, or hospitality industries
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is advantageous but not essential—training will be provided
