Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Fast Food Workers to join our busy team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing food efficiently, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a passion for delivering a positive dining experience in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. You will need to be able to work on your own, using your own initiative. This is a new start up and currently for Saturday afternoon/evenings to start, but we will be looking to expand the operation hours
Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards and recipes
- Serve customers promptly and courteously at the counter or drive-thru
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the till system
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Restock supplies and organise stock to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities
- Follow all health and safety procedures diligently, including food safety standards
- Assist in opening and closing duties as required, ensuring the premises are secure and hygienic
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, serving, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to perform basic maths accurately for cash handling and stock management
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food handling processes
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude towards customers and team members
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required
