Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for patients. The Pharmacist will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise medication therapy and improve patient outcomes.
Duties
- Review and interpret medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of therapy.
- Provide expert advice on medication administration, including dosages, side effects, and interactions.
- Conduct patient consultations to assess their medication needs and provide counselling on proper usage.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient interactions in compliance with legal requirements.
- Stay updated on advancements in pharmacology, treatment protocols, and best practices in patient care.
Experience
- A degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution is required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education and support.
