Youth Minister – Manifest Church, Timperley (Altrincham) Full-time/part-time, permanent
Manifest Church, a Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) parish in Timperley, is looking for a Youth Minister to lead our young people (ages 13-19) into a growing relationship with Christ.
About us: We're an evangelical, Pentecostal church committed to God's Word and reaching people of all ages. Youth Church meets Sundays 10:30am-13:30pm using the Trek & Journey curriculum, plus Thursday evening Bible study. We also run AWANA for children.
The role:
- Lead and grow our youth ministry, working as part of the wider team with the Parish Pastor and HoDs.
- Teach, mentor, and counsel young people and their parents, using varied teaching methods to keep sessions engaging and age-appropriate.
- Plan youth events and retreats; reach young people outside the church.
- Mainly Sunday hours plus a few hours midweek; flexible by arrangement.
Requirements:
- Born-again Christian; believes in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, the Holy Spirit, and the Bible as God's Word.
- Good character and a strong prayer life.
- Understands West African/Caribbean culture and the challenges of Christian parenting in Black minority communities; speaks at least one Nigerian language.
- Strong team player, able to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
- AWANA teaching experience a plus.
