Southeast Traders Ltd – Stock Administrator
Location – Cumbernauld
Salary – £28,000 per annum
Southeast Traders Ltd (SET) is a family-run business established in 2002. We are a wholesaler, distributor, exporter, and brand owner based in Glasgow.
Our longstanding relationships with manufacturers and traders allow us to access a wide array of products. Our customer base is large and diverse both in the UK and around the world.
We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner / Administrator for our FMCG wholesale business, this is a full-time (Mon-Fri) office-based role with on-site parking facilities.
Candidates for the position should be motivated, possess good communication skills, be capable of working independently, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
· Liaise with contracted Hauliers to arrange deliveries and collections
· Process customs declarations (inhouse training will be provided)
· Liaise with Warehouse and Stock Control Teams regarding deliveries/collections
· Resolving any delivery/collection issues along side the Stock Control Team
· Taking ownership of processes and maintaining an organised work environment
· Ad-hoc duties as assigned by management
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
· Previous Transport Planning / Administration experience
· Strong work ethic, attention to detail and the willingness to take accountability
· Confidence and strong interpersonal skills
· First class communication skill both written and verbal
· IT literacy – Excel, Word & PowerPoint
· Experience of SAP or other similar software would be advantageous
· Possess a positive, proactive and flexible approach
· Full UK driving license
