At Squirrels Corner Preschool, we are dedicated to providing a safe, warm, and stimulating environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive. We are excited to offer an amazing opportunity for two enthusiastic individuals to join our friendly team as Apprentice Early Years Practitioners.
Role Overview
As an Apprentice, you will work towards your Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification while gaining real, hands-on experience in a supportive early years setting. You will work alongside our experienced staff, helping to create engaging learning experiences for children aged 2 to 4.
Key Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day running of preschool sessions and learning activities.
Assist with outdoor and indoor play, creative activities, and snack times.
Build positive, caring relationships with children to support their emotional and social development.
Learn to observe and assess children's progress in line with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework.
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and parents.
Work collaboratively with the preschool team and participate in staff training and study modules.
What We Are Looking For
A passion for working with young children and supporting their early learning.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive, reliable, and "can-do" attitude.
Willingness to learn and complete the requirements of the apprenticeship qualification.
Basic literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE grade 4/C or equivalent preferred, but support can be provided).
