Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Labourer Driver to join our team. This role involves assisting with manual labour tasks and operating a vehicle to transport goods and materials across various locations. The ideal candidate will be organised, safety-conscious, and possess a valid driving licence. Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles, including vans or lorries, to deliver goods and materials to designated sites
- Assist with loading and unloading items, ensuring proper handling and securing of loads
- Perform manual labour tasks such as lifting, moving, and organising supplies or equipment as required, keeping the workshop clean
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle and work area
- Follow all health and safety regulations during transportation and manual handling activities
- Complete relevant documentation related to deliveries or tasks undertaken
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of daily operations
Qualifications
- Valid UK driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., Category B or C)
- Previous experience in driving and manual labour roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong attention to safety procedures and regulations
- Physically fit, capable of lifting moderate loads and performing manual tasks for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks is advantageous
