Job Summary
Law Trucks are an independent used vehicle specialist with over 30 years’ experience in truck trading. We are looking for HGV Mechanics to support the growth of the company as we expand to multiple sites within the Stoke on Trent area.
You will be working in a bespoke workshop alongside other mechanics to inspect, repair and maintain the trucks we sell.

In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing faults and analysing issues where appropriate
- MOT Inspections, rectifying faults and presenting for MOT
- Preventative and routine maintenance
- Servicing engines
- General repairs and fixing diagnostic issues
- Changing hydraulic pipes
- Bleeding fuel systems
- Changing batteries
- Engine rebuilds where required
You will work on a variety of makes and models, predominantly 18 ton trucks and above. A can-do attitude is a must with the ability to work well as part of a team and happy to support your colleagues in their duties as you will be supported when required.
The right candidate will have relevant experience as a HGV Mechanic including experience working on Commercial vehicles. A HGV Licence is essential to this role.
Working hours 8.00 to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, based in our Stoke premises. Your weekend and evenings are your own!
