Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our professional culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes in accordance with restaurant standards and recipes
- Assist in the organisation and management of specific sections within the kitchen
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service periods
- Contribute to menu development by providing input on new dishes and seasonal specials
- Support junior kitchen staff through training and mentorship as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a busy kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
- Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications are advantageous but not essential

Pay: £24,420.00-£38,464.59 per year
