The Role
We’re looking for a Logistics Team Leader who’s excited to bring their skills and ideas to the table. In this role, you’ll ensure the efficient, safe, and smooth day‑to‑day running of warehouse and packaging operations, supporting departmental performance and service delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate counterbalance, clamp, double fork trucks, and PPT in line with training and safety standards.
- Work independently when required and provide day‑to‑day supervision and coordination of drivers and warehouse operatives.
- Manage all SAP transactions, including WMS and MM modules.
- Book in and book out all packaging materials and finished goods, including inter‑warehouse transfers.
- Use RF scanning systems to support accurate stock movements and inventory control.
- Carry out regular stock checks and actively manage inventory accuracy.
- Maintain accurate and timely record keeping across all warehouse activities.
- Plan daily and weekly loading requirements, including driver time allocation for loading and unloading activities.
- Record, investigate, and manage damages, including photographic evidence and reporting.
- Ensure safe stacking practices and compliance with general warehouse and workplace transport (WPT) safety requirements.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety, Quality, and company procedures at all times.
- Liaise with suppliers to coordinate inbound deliveries.
- Work closely with central planning to coordinate the movement of goods in and out of the site.
- Execute and monitor tasks related to Quality, Food Safety, HACCP, and Food Defence within the assigned work area, ensuring compliance with site and regulatory standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven ability to manage and lead all aspects of warehouse operations.
- Strong SAP capability with hands‑on experience in stock control and inventory management.
- Confident user of computer systems, with a good working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Ability to manage daily operational plans while ensuring full compliance with company procedures and standards.
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise workloads, multitask effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate record keeping and correct labelling of finished goods.
- Demonstrates high standards of health and safety, promoting a safe and compliant working environment.
- Effective communicator, able to liaise with senior management, internal departments, and external stakeholders.
- Continuous improvement mindset, actively identifying and implementing process enhancements.
- FLT and clamp truck trained and competent.
- Experience training, coaching, and developing warehouse staff to maintain operational performance and standards.

- Working hours: Across 3 shifts (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am)
