Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team here at A1 Wokingham Car Spares. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to load, unload, and organise materials in and around the yard. This role requires a strong understanding of material handling, and mechanical and vehicle knowledge to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift equipment proficiently to load and unload materials
- perform basic maintenance and checks on forklift equipment as needed
- handle materials carefully, adhering to safety protocols and load capacities
Requirements
- Valid forklift licence with proven experience operating various types of forklift trucks
- all round knowledge of vehicles and mechanics
- good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
