We are currently seeking an experienced mechanical engineer for a challenging and varied role. The ideal candidate should possess a strong grasp of mechanical building services fundamentals, along with on-site installation experience, and a keen interest in advancing their career through a design-oriented role. Successful candidates will have a proven track record in working on high-profile residential and commercial projects with national development companies. While experience with industry-specific software is desirable, it is not mandatory. The ability to work independently and collaboratively, coupled with a flexible approach to meet deadlines, is crucial.

Requirements:
· Educated to degree / HNC / HND qualification level
· Minimum of three years on site experience with further office / design experience in the building services industry
· Able to perform design calculations
· Ability to work individually or as part of a team
· Hold a full UK driving licence
· IT literate, ideally with experience in AutoCAD, Revit, Cymap, Dialux
· Able to work in the UK without sponsorship
· Excellent communication skills
· Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
· Broad understanding of other engineering disciplines engaged in the design of the built environment.
· Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and industry standard design reference material.
· Ability to use initiative in response to demands of project.
· Able to negotiate and communicate well in graphical, written or verbal forms including ability to listen and to understand others.
· Ability to understand and formulate design decisions.
· A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and a proven commitment to independent, lifelong learning.
· Self-organized and motivated.

Duties and Responsibilities
· Represent the company in professional and diligent manner always.
· Good Knowledge of relevant legislations, standards, regulations, guides and good practise.
· To develop thorough knowledge of and compliance with company procedures and standards.
· To contribute and assist, as required by the Project Leader or Senior Partner, or nominated Engineer.
· Preparation and development of calculations, analysis, schematics, drawings, diagrams, models, specifications and other documents relating to each project's designs
· Production of details of specifications and outline of designs, creation of and refinement of complex mechanical components
· Attend project sites and works testing
· Liaising with clients, architects, and other engineers to ensure that the mechanical systems meet the client's requirements and comply with relevant regulations.
· Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects at one time
