Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Adhoc Wedding and Events Team. This role offers flexible, on-demand opportunities to support various events, including weddings, corporate functions, and private parties. The ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality and guest service, with a keen eye for detail and a professional attitude. Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or related fields is highly desirable. This position provides valuable experience in event management and customer service within a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Assist with setting up event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, and décor to meet client specifications
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously during events
- Ensure food safety standards are maintained at all times during food handling and service
- Support with food preparation tasks as required, adhering to hygiene protocols
- Provide excellent guest services by attending to guests’ needs promptly and professionally
- Clear tables and clean event areas following each function to ensure a pristine environment for subsequent events
- Collaborate with the team to coordinate event logistics smoothly and efficiently
- Assist with packing down after events, including packing away equipment and cleaning the venue
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or restaurant environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in serving or guest services roles is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts depending on event schedules
- A professional appearance and attitude suitable for high-profile events
- No formal qualifications are necessary; however, a genuine interest in hospitality and customer service is essential
