Commis Chef
Location: Moore Lodge, Ballymoney
Reporting To: Operations Manager / Head Chef
About Moore Lodge
Moore Lodge is a unique countryside retreat located on the banks of the River Bann. We currently offer Afternoon Tea experiences and are preparing to expand into breakfast service, accommodation and wellness experiences.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our small team and help us deliver exceptional food and hospitality to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and service of Afternoon Tea
- Support breakfast preparation and service
- Prepare ingredients and food items to the required standard
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Follow food hygiene and food safety procedures at all times
- Assist with stock rotation and storage
- Support with kitchen cleaning duties and daily housekeeping tasks
- Work closely with the wider team to ensure a positive guest experience
What We're Looking For
- A passion for food and hospitality
- Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential
- Good attention to detail
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work as part of a small team
- Understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices
