Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Builder to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of building projects, from extensions to renovations, working alongside a team. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install building materials using hand tools and power tools to meet project specifications
- Perform fabrication and joinery tasks to create custom components for various structures
- Execute roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance with attention to safety and quality standards
- Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure efficient workflow on-site
- Conduct construction painting, masonry work as needed
- Follow detailed blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate construction processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols throughout each project
Skills
- Proficiency in fabrication, assembly, and use of hand tools and power tools
- Strong carpentry and joinery skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper body mechanics
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction sites and working at heights
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues during construction projects
