Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Self-employed Multi drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. The position involves delivering goods across different routes, maintaining vehicle safety standards, and providing exceptional service to clients.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, including vans , adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Plan delivery routes effectively to ensure timely arrival at each destination.
- Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting, with care and attention to safety procedures.
- Communicate professionally with clients upon delivery, confirming receipt of goods and addressing any queries or concerns.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for each trip.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow company policies regarding health and safety standards at all times during deliveries.
Skills
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is beneficial but not essential — full training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Valid UK driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience in warehouse or logistics operations is an advantage, but we are happy to train motivated individuals.
- Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting safely (training provided).
- Good communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Basic organisational skills to follow delivery routes and manage schedules efficiently.
- Understanding of road safety and traffic laws (full guidance provided during training).
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn..
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £100.00-£120.00 per day
