This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual studying towards ACA/ACCA with some audit experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Working on a variety of interesting and complex audit assignments across multiple sectors
- Preparing audit files, supporting audit planning, and leading or assisting with fieldwork
- Completing audit sections or smaller audits from start to finish as you gain experience
- Preparing corporation tax computations alongside audit work
- Supervising, training, and assisting junior team members
- Managing your own workload to meet deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
- Liaising with seniors, managers, and partners to ensure assignments are completed on time and within budget
- Building long-lasting relationships with clients and colleagues
- Collaborating closely with other teams across the firm to deliver a seamless client experience
- Opportunity to get involved in accounts preparation alongside your audit work
This is a genuine development role for someone who's motivated to grow both technically and professionally, with clear pathways for progression.
Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA student
- Previous audit experience (in the UK) - no minimum requirement, but 1 year+ is ideal
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
