Recruit 4 Construction are partnering with a well-established and highly respected construction business based in Rochdale to recruit an Accounts Administrator to join their busy and friendly finance team.

Working closely with the Accounts Manager and Finance Director, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the finance department, ensuring the smooth processing of accounts, payroll information and administration functions that keep the business moving.
The Role
This is a varied position offering exposure to all aspects of finance administration, including:
Purchase Ledger
- Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
- Matching invoices against purchase orders and delivery documentation
- Investigating and resolving invoice queries
- Maintaining supplier records and account information
- Completing supplier statement reconciliations
Payroll & Timesheet Administration
- Reviewing employee timesheets for accuracy and completeness
- Liaising with site teams to resolve discrepancies
- Preparing payroll information including hours, overtime and adjustments
- Supporting weekly and monthly payroll preparation
Accounts & Office Administration
- Managing the finance inbox and supplier communications
- Maintaining accurate electronic filing systems
- Supporting month-end finance processes
- Assisting with general accounts administration duties
- Providing occasional PA support to the Finance Director
What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Administration, Finance Administration or Purchase Ledger role
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience using accounting software (Sage experience would be advantageous)
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
Desirable Experience
Whilst not essential, candidates with any of the following will be at an advantage:
- Construction industry experience
- CIS knowledge
- Timesheet-based payroll experience
- Sage 50 Accounts experience
