Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team at our Subway Store in Huyton Village. Once fully trained you would oversee daily operations within our busy restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food service, and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering excellent customer service. The position offers an opportunity to develop your managerial skills within a dynamic hospitality environment.
Duties
- Lead and supervise team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to quality standards
- Manage daily kitchen activities, including cooking and food production
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Assist in training new staff and providing ongoing coaching to team members
- Organise shift schedules and delegate tasks efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Handle customer queries and resolve any issues promptly
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers as needed
- Uphold company policies and promote a positive team atmosphere
Qualification
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Previous experience in food service, including roles such as serving, barista work, or hotel hospitality, is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
- Good communication skills and the ability to motivate others
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
