Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support financial planning strategies and recommendations
- Conduct thorough analysis of client data, client files, and financial information to inform planning decisions
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of research tailored to individual client needs
- Communicate effectively with clients, advisors, introducers and lenders to gather information and clarify requirements
- Organise and manage client files, ensuring all records are accurate, complete, and compliant with industry regulations
- Use Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook to draft reports, schedule meetings, and maintain correspondence
- Support the team with administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing deadlines, and handling client enquiries
Skills
- Strong report writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise documentation
- Excellent analysis skills to interpret complex financial data accurately
- Knowledge of financial services industry practices and regulations
- Outstanding communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
- Solid understanding of mortgages & protection principles and processes
- Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook; familiarity with IT systems used in financial services is a plus
- Customer service orientation with a professional approach to client engagement
- Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines consistently
- Previous administrative experience within a financial or professional services setting is advantageous
- CeMAP qualified ideally, but would consider applicants without but has experience.
