Duties
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements to develop comprehensive solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables while managing timelines in accordance with the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Conduct data analysis utilizing SQL, R, Python, and VBA to extract insights from large datasets stored in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or other relational databases.
- Develop database schemas and design data models that support efficient storage, retrieval, and reporting of information.
- Support project management activities by tracking progress, identifying risks, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
- Use Visio to create process flow diagrams and system architecture documentation for clarity and effective communication.
- Perform database queries using Bash (Unix shell) scripting for automation tasks and data manipulation.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous validation processes while adhering to best practices in database design.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role with a strong foundation in business analysis methodologies.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization tools for creating compelling dashboards.
- Solid understanding of SDLC processes and project management principles to oversee end-to-end solution delivery.
- Hands-on experience working with SQL databases such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server; familiarity with R and Python for advanced analytics.
- Knowledge of database design principles including schema development and data modeling techniques.
- Skilled in scripting languages like VBA and Bash (Unix shell) for automation and data processing tasks.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets into clear insights for diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with Visio for process mapping and system documentation is highly desirable.

Pay: £27,737.79-£70,170.67 per year
