Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager/Front of House to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate front of house activities, including serving guests and managing reservations
- Oversee food preparation and ensure high standards of culinary presentation and quality
- Lead, motivate, and manage team members to deliver outstanding customer service
- Monitor food safety compliance and maintain hygiene standards across all areas
- Assist with food production and kitchen operations as needed
- Ensure efficient restaurant or hotel operations during service hours
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction
- Organise staff schedules, training sessions, and performance reviews
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front of house and food preparation teams
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example
- Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production processes
- Familiarity with hospitality operations including serving, barista duties, and general customer service
- Leadership qualities with excellent organisational and communication skills
- Previous experience in culinary roles or kitchen environments is advantageous
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- A positive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
