Events & Engagement Manager
Location: Taplow, Office-based with UK travel

Khalsa Aid is an international humanitarian charity providing aid to vulnerable communities worldwide, regardless of faith, race or background. We are looking for an experienced Events & Engagement Manager to lead the planning and delivery of our fundraising, community and awareness events across the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about creating memorable experiences, building strong relationships and delivering events that raise vital funds while increasing awareness of our humanitarian work.
What you'll be doing
- Plan and deliver a diverse programme of fundraising, community and awareness events.
- Manage event budgets, logistics, suppliers, venues and volunteers.
- Develop sponsorship opportunities and maximise fundraising income.
- Build relationships with community groups, corporate partners and supporters.
- Coordinate volunteer recruitment, training and engagement.
- Support event marketing through digital content, social media and promotional materials.
- Ensure all events meet Health & Safety, safeguarding and GDPR requirements.
- Evaluate event performance and use data to drive continuous improvement.
About you
You'll be an organised and proactive events professional with excellent communication and project management skills. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy building relationships and be passionate about delivering outstanding supporter experiences.
You'll have:
- At least five years' experience delivering fundraising, community or corporate events.
- Experience managing budgets, logistics and event operations.
- A track record of fundraising, sponsorship or income generation.
- Experience coordinating volunteers and engaging stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and relationship-building skills.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK, including occasional evenings and weekends.
Desirable
- Charity or non-profit sector experience.
- Social media and digital marketing experience.
- Experience managing event merchandise and stock.
- Punjabi language skills (advantageous but not essential).
