Permanent, Full time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Rotherham Council’s Housing Property Services (HPS) Service have opportunities for two Technical Officers (specialising in Damp, Mould, and Repair’s).
This is an exciting opportunity to work within the HPS’s technical team, attending visits to Council homes to survey for damp, mould, and associated repair works. Technical knowledge and trade knowledge are essential in relation to domestic properties and is key for this role. Full training around damp and mould, as well as all the necessary equipment, including electrical monitoring devices, PPE, etc. will be provided.
The successful candidate will operate under the supervision and line management of the Senior Technical Officer.

Willingness to work occasionally outside normal working hours, for example to attend meetings.
- Willingness to undertake any training and development associated with this role, as and when required.
- Access to own transport to travel across the borough for appointments required.
- There will be a need to climb ladders, e.g. to access loft spaces to check insulation training can be provided.
