Join us in growing our expanding team as Driver / Stores Person on a part-time basis based in our Sercal facility in Cannock. We are looking for someone to work 22.5 hours a week. Working pattern will be Tuesday – Thursday 8.45am – 5.15pm.
The Driver / Stores person will play a crucial role in ensuring that we maintains rigorous QA standards already in place. This post will report to the Service Manager in a small but busy department where no two days are the same. To apply for this position you must be over the age of 21 to meet our driver insurance requirements.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
The responsibilities of the postholder will include but not be limited to the following:
- Collection and delivery of equipment to and from Customer facility
- Maintenance of stores and yard housekeeping
- Learning the booking process
- Maintenance and cleaning of all Rental transportation cases
- Picking and packing of goods leaving the Warehouse
- Keeping warehouse materials organized and neatly arrange for future picking
- Undertake any additional jobs allocated
- Comply at all times with the Company’s Quality and Health & Safety at Work policies.
Experience and Qualifications
Desirable experience and qualifications are as follows:
- Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
- Experience of working in a goods in/out role
- Experience with shipping and freight requirements
- Good proficiency of the Microsoft packages
- Full UK Driving License
