Located in Poole on the edge the bustling village of Broadstone, Poole Orthodontics has continued to grow since establishing in 2019. Our hardworking Orthodontic team provide a high-quality patient experience. We are looking for another receptionist to help with our increasing patient’s database.
The role
We are looking for someone who is very approachable and welcoming as the reception desk is the heart of our practice and the first thing a patient will see. We are looking for someone who is confident speaking directly to patients with good telephone manners.
We ideally require Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. Once a month Saturday.
As an Orthodontic Dental Receptionist, you will be required to
- · Organise patient appointments into our booking system.
- · Deal with patient enquires in a polite and timely manner.
- · Answer emails and organise incoming and outgoing post.
- · Communicate messages to Clinicians.
- · Keep up to date on the status of referrals and update patients accordingly.
- · Handling payments and fully recording all transactions.
- · Dealing with very sensitive personal data while upholding GDPR laws and patient confidentiality.
- · Supporting the management and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice.
- · Making patients aware of other dental services offered.
- · Scanning of documents and accurately recording data.
- · Liaising with dental laboratories and other organisations when required.
About you
- · Honesty and Integrity will be valued higher than any other quality and skills.
- · Previous Dental knowledge who be ideal.
- · Knowledge of Orthodontics is beneficial but not essential.
- · Knowledge of the NHS referrals systems is beneficial but not essential.
- · Ability to keep calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- · Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft office.
- · Willingness to learn and keep up to date with the latest Dental treatments and technologies.
Salary is negotiable based on experience.
Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
