Little Robins Nursery is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our growing Early Years team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Early Years professional looking to lead a room, inspire colleagues and help deliver outstanding childcare and education within a supportive nursery environment.

About the Role
As Room Leader, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of your room, ensuring high standards of care, learning and development for all children.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the room team and daily nursery activities
- Planning and delivering engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
- Overseeing observations, assessments and children's learning journeys
- Maintaining a safe, organised and stimulating environment
- Supporting, mentoring and motivating team members
- Building strong relationships with children, parents and carers
- Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety policies are consistently followed
- Contributing to the ongoing development of nursery practice and standards
Essential Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification recognised by the DfE
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Excellent understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities
- Previous experience leading a room or mentoring nursery staff
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A warm, positive and professional approach
