We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, contributing to inventory management, order fulfillment, and overall efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and experience in various warehouse functions.
Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm.
Duties
- Efficient and accurate preparation of all customer orders in line with the customers required delivery date.
- Ensures deliveries are scheduled to meet the customer’s expectations, delivery notes are signed and reconciled to customer orders.
- Ensures products are warehoused in a clean and safe manner to maintain product quality, checking any product defects or quality issues and reporting these to the Branch Manager.
- Undertakes, manages and reports on all stock controls (goods in & goods out) within the warehouse to ensure all stock reconciles. Inputs to branch reports on damaged & missing stock.
- Complying with the Company’s health and safety processes, procedures and branch safe working practices.
- Manages any customer queries regarding orders and/or deliveries.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehousing environemnt.
- Holds a fork lift driver licence.
- IT literate and able to use MS Office.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
