We’re looking for a Project Planner to join our Programme Management team at our Advanced Manufacturing Facility in Ampthill, Bedfordshire. This role benefits from our 4xFlex working pattern, offering a 4-day working week Monday - Thursday and hybrid working . Onsite working days are Monday and Tuesday, with Wednesday and Thursday typically worked from home subject to business needs.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the end-to-end planning lifecycle — from proposal to execution — helping deliver some of the UK’s most complex and innovative engineering programmes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Maintain the end-to-end lifecycle of planning and schedule management in support of programme capture and execution.
- Support proposal preparation planning including development of planning artefacts for solicitation response. Interfaces with program management, senior management and the contractual customer as the programs planning integrator.
- Support the validation of cost and schedule integration for effective program performance management.
- Support the vertical and horizontal integration between all schedules and other program artefacts compliant with LM's command media.
- Support the modelling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline.
- Supports the resolution of schedule conflicts, develops and implements work-around strategies and tactical alternatives.
- Utilises performance and health metrics to communicate actions to the programme team resulting in improved program performance.
- Maintenance and status updates of the IMS on a weekly & monthly basis.
- Support to the Maintenance of the Performance Measurement Baseline.
- Support to the Project Business Rhythm.
- Support to the generation of Schedule Information for client and management reviews.
