Job Opportunities - General Assistants

Gregynog Hall is seeking a number of General Assistants to contribute to the smooth running of Gregynog Hall in order to ensure our guests have an enjoyable experience.
The role of the General Assistant is:
- To assist with food & beverage services, including bar.
- To assist with basic food preparation.
- To assist with the cleaning, upkeep and turnaround of accommodation rooms.
- To assist in the Café, serving customers.
- To contribute to ensuring our visitors receive a warm welcome and the best possible service.
This role will be varied, hands on and customer facing. You will need to be prepared for busy periods at peak times. Food and beverage services may include large events in our outstanding heritage setting, afternoon tea, light bites, or coffee and cake at our café.
Candidates applying for this job will need to be flexible, able to work agreed shift patterns, day or evening, either during the week and/or at weekends. Reliability is essential and whilst previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage, it is not essential as full training will be provided.
The General Assistant is a casual part time role.
You will need to work collaboratively with colleagues as an effective member of the
Gregynog Trust staff team contributing to the success of the whole organisation and be prepared to be flexible. The ability to speak Welsh would be an advantage, but this is not essential.

Pay: £7.55 to £12.21 per hour dependant on age
