Cash & Carry Sales Coordinator
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:30 + 1 in 4 Saturdays (Showroom & C&C)
Salary: £28,000 + OTE Commission/Bonus, phone & laptop

We’re looking for a proactive, customer‑focused Sales Coordinator to help grow our customer base across the Cash & Carry, Showroom, and local territory. This hybrid role blends in‑showroom service with customer visits and sales coordination, giving you hands‑on experience in developing accounts, building relationships, and supporting commercial growth.
Stephenson’s is an independent family business supplying the catering trade with non-food equipment since 1868.
What You’ll Do:
- Sales Acquisition — Support new and existing customers, identify opportunities, prospect potential clients, and build long‑term relationships.
- Customer Visits — Visit our local and C&C customers to drive acquisition, retention, reactivation, and growth.
- Showroom Service — Welcome customers, understand their needs, advise on products, and maintain well-presented displays.
- Order Coordination — Manage orders, special requests, back orders, and liaise with Purchasing and Warehouse teams.
- New Site Openings — Support opening processes including order taking, non-stock sourcing, pick/pack coordination, and delivery scheduling.
- Sales Reporting — Work to targets, update the C&C and Showroom Manager, and assist with forecasting and budgeting.
- Customer Retention — Reconnect with lapsed customers and maximise opportunities with existing ones and increase basket spend.
- Operational Support — Support tills, stock replenishment, and ensure the C&C and showroom remain well-presented.
- Commercial Support — Assist with pricing discussions, sales terms, and securing orders.
- Market Awareness — Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments and training.
