About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Disrepair Coordinator to join our team and make a real impact.
In this critical role, you’ll take ownership of disrepair cases from start to finish—ensuring they are handled efficiently, compliantly, and with a genuine commitment to delivering a positive customer experience. You’ll be at the heart of the action, bringing together internal teams, contractors, and legal partners to drive timely resolutions and uphold excellent housing standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of disrepair claims from initial notification through to resolution

Liaise with legal teams, surveyors, contractors, and tenants to coordinate timely repairs

Ensure all cases are handled in line with relevant legislation, policies, and timeframes

Monitor progress of works, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met

Maintain accurate records, documentation, and audit trails
-
Prepare case summaries, reports, and updates for stakeholders
-
Support legal proceedings, including provision of documentation and evidence where required

Identify trends and contribute to service improvements to reduce future disrepair cases
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:

Highly organised with strong attention to detail
-
Experienced in housing, repairs, property services, or a similar environment
-
Confident managing multiple cases and working to strict deadlines
-
An effective communicator, able to liaise with a range of stakeholders
-
Comfortable working with legal processes and sensitive information
-
Proficient in IT systems and maintaining accurate records
Desirable Experience
-
Experience working in social housing, property management and/or disrepair.

Knowledge of disrepair processes, housing legislation, and compliance requirements

Experience working with contractors and managing repairs programmes
