Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Operate spray guns, air compressors, and other power tools safely and effectively to apply primer, base coat, and clear coat paints
- Mix paints accurately according to color specifications and manufacturer guidelines
- Conduct thorough inspections of painted surfaces for imperfections, touch up as needed, and ensure a smooth, even finish
- Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to repair minor surface damages prior to painting
- Perform heavy lifting of vehicles or parts when necessary during the preparation or finishing process
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Experience
- Proven experience as a vehicle paint sprayer or in a similar automotive refinishing role
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle bodywork and painting techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools such as sanders, scrapers, and masking equipment
- Experience operating power tools including spray guns, compressors, and polishing machines
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and efficiently during various stages of the painting process
- Knowledge of safety standards related to automotive painting environments
