Cleaner (Temporary – 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract)
Location
Based at Moda in Pelle Head Office and Warehouse, Leeds (LS7), with cleaning duties across an additional commercial property (LS8).
Job Purpose
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and conscientious Cleaner to join our team on a six-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation across our Head Office, Warehouse and other commercial properties.
This is a varied role requiring flexibility to undertake both domestic and commercial cleaning duties, ensuring all working environments remain clean, safe and welcoming for employees, visitors and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning offices, warehouse areas and commercial properties.
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and polishing floors.
- Dusting and wiping surfaces, furniture and fixtures.
- Cleaning kitchens, staff areas and communal spaces.
- Cleaning and replenishing washroom facilities.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Cleaning internal glass, mirrors and other surfaces.
- Maintaining stock of cleaning materials and reporting when supplies need replenishing.
- Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Carrying out domestic cleaning duties where required, including laundry and ironing.
- Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or health and safety concerns.
- Ensuring all areas are maintained to a consistently high standard.
- Undertaking any other reasonable duties commensurate with the role.
Person Specification Essential
- Previous cleaning experience in a domestic and/or commercial environment.
- Reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Flexible approach and willingness to work across multiple sites.
