Overview
We are looking for a motivated Education Support Assistant to join our team at our Nottingham centre, focusing on exams, tutoring, and administrative support. This paid position is ideal for someone with a passion for education and teaching, eager to support students through exam preparation, tutoring sessions, and essential administrative tasks. The role offers a lively environment where you can develop your skills while helping learners achieve their goals.
Responsibilities
- Support the smooth running of examinations, including preparing rooms and following examination procedures.
- Provide one-to-one or small-group tutoring to primary school students, particularly in English and Maths.
- Support pupils with their learning, confidence and progress.
- Carry out general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, preparing documents and responding to emails.
- Maintain accurate and confidential pupil and examination records.
- Communicate professionally with pupils, parents, teachers and colleagues.
- Maintain a safe, positive and well-organised learning environment.
Qualifications
- Passion for teaching and supporting student learning experiences
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing administrative tasks
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a lively educational setting
- Previous experience in teaching or tutoring is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and support various aspects of the role

Pay: £25,420.00-£27,000.00 per year
