McCrory Access is a leading scaffolding contractor providing safe, reliable, and professional scaffolding solutions across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. We are looking for a motivated and reliable HGV Driver to join our team based in Lurgan.
Duties
- Safely drive HGVs flatbeds to transport scaffolding materials and equipment to and from customer sites throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of scaffolding materials as required.
- Conduct pre- and post-use vehicle inspections in line with company policies and legal requirements.
- Ensure all loads are secured safely and correctly for transport.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
- Communicate effectively with transport coordinators, yard staff, scaffolders, and customers.
- Complete delivery paperwork and relevant documentation accurately and on time.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
- Represent the company in a professional manner when attending sites and interacting with customers.
What You Will Need
- Valid HGV Driver Licence (Category CE or C).
- Valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC).
- Previous experience operating HGV vehicles.
- Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work.
- Ability to operate navigation systems and mobile applications.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to health and safety.
