We're currently recruiting for a temp to perm Planner to join a busy team. Previous planning experience isn't essential – we're looking for someone with a strong customer service background who is organised, confident on the phone and able to manage a busy workload.
The Role
You'll be responsible for coordinating appointments and workloads, communicating with customers and operatives, and making sure jobs are dealt with efficiently and within agreed timescales.
You'll be:
- Handling a high volume of calls and emails from customers
- Booking and arranging appointments
- Coordinating workloads and diaries
- Liaising with customers, operatives and contractors
- Updating internal systems with accurate information
- Responding to queries and resolving issues quickly
- Managing changing priorities and urgent requests
- Keeping customers updated throughout the process
- Ensuring jobs and appointments are completed within required timescales
- Providing a high level of customer service at all times
Requirements
You don't need previous planning experience – what's important is that you have:
- Previous customer service experience, ideally within a busy environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- The ability to manage a high volume of work
- Confidence speaking with customers over the phone
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
- A calm and professional approach when dealing with difficult customers or changing situations
- Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Experience within housing, repairs, construction or facilities management would be an advantage, but is not essential
