Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare customised menus for private dining events and catering occasions, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Manage kitchen operations efficiently, maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and adherence to food safety standards.
- Supervise and coordinate team members or assistants during events, providing guidance on food preparation and service.
- Ensure timely delivery of meals to clients, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation throughout.
- Serve dishes professionally at events, engaging with guests to enhance their dining experience.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards by communicating clearly with clients regarding menu options and event details.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within hospitality or restaurant environments.
- Supervising experience with the ability to lead a team effectively during busy service periods.
- Strong background in food safety practices and adherence to health regulations.
- Extensive culinary expertise with a flair for innovative presentation and flavour combinations.
- Experience in food production for private events or catering services.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure.
- Hospitality or restaurant experience preferred, along with serving skills during events.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members and ensure smooth event execution.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying client requirements and event schedules.
